I haven't always been able to help others the way I do today. In fact, it wasn't that long ago that I found myself in a position where I could barely help myself. I was 19 when I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and in my mid-twenties when I found out I had severe anxiety and depression.
Both experiences, although great challenges, proved to be the exact blessings I needed in order to find myself, God and a direction for my life.
I started investing in my own wellbeing and explore who I am. And I quickly discovered that my purpose was to help others through their mental struggles and pursue life with a new invigorated passion.
I'm a multi-passionate kinda gal'. That's why you can often find me exploring many different avenues. Like the time I tried the nomad lifestyle by backpacking through Europe with my poodle, Doodle, for a year. But mainly it means that I like to try new things and push against my own fears. And I think it shows in my work.
Although I was born a Muslim, I found myself reverting to Islam when I was 26. Spirituality and faith are the backbone of my coaching and although I do not teach Islam, I rely heavily on it in order to successfully do the work that I love to do.
I believe in second, third, fourth and fifth chances when it comes to life. I believe in pressing the reset button and trying again. And most important; I believe that it is never too late to start living your best life, regardless of what that may look like to you. This is a gift that I have received from God. And I want to share my blessings with you.
